About Us

For over 30 years, Earl Ante has been “hustling” numerous partners! And for the last 15 years, he’s been teaching all the “club dances, with a focus on hustle and salsa dancing. In the 1990’s, he was one the original founders of the SF Bay Area Hustle Dance Club.

Earl has taught in Berkeley, Union City, Fremont, Sunnyvale and Danville so his students come from all over the Bay Area. A interesting and little known fact is that his original students include both his brothers, Jesse and Raul, who are still dancing today !

He and his students often perform at various charity events like the Chabot College International Day Celebration; UC Berkeley’s PAAC Mixer; the Union City Fund Raiser for their Leisure Services, Union City Special Olympics and the City of Fremont’s annual Dance Recital Program at Ohlone College. Also, at the request of the City of Union City, Earl has organized a successful fund raiser annual dance for the last four years, which is held at the Ruggieri Center in Union City.

Earl’s wife and partner, Elizabeth Ante, has been dancing all her life. At the young age of four, Elizabeth began ballet with “Joji Felix Velarde.” At the age of nine, she joined the Bayanihan Dance Group in the Philippines and was featured in many dance contests on Philippine television. She was a regular dance performer on the television show “Dance Time with Chito.”

Both Earl and Elizabeth are instructors that say “Dancing should be FUN and a shared social event that inspires new and creative ways of thinking that benefits everyone”.
